MARION:
Irene Baldwin-Burke-Zwolle, 87, of Marion, went to be with the Lord at home on Thursday morning, November 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.

She was born at home on Southside in Paintsville, Kentucky, on March 14, 1928 being the youngest child of Frederick Henry and Mary Frances Sublett Baldwin.

Irene was very active in her children's lives and enjoyed having big family get togethers in her home. A few of the many things that she loved doing were tending to her yard filled with beautiful flowers, cooking, sewing, quilting and learning to decorate many different cakes with her sister, Kathryn.

On June 4, 1946, Irene married John Burke and he passed away on August 7, 1957 and on May 9, 1958, she married Lowell "Tom" Zwolle and he passed away on June 26, 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Burke and Delma (Ron) Lindsay, Marion and three sons John (Bud) & Barbara Burke, New Albany, Chuck & RuthAnn Zwolle, Indianapolis, IN, and Tony & Judy Zwolle, Marion, three grand daughters, Tonya & Kevin Davidson, Ti & Jeff Hildebrand and Jessica Zwolle, all of Marion, five grandsons, Michael (Samantha South) Zwolle, Marysville, JT Burke, Marion, Preston (Echo) Zwolle and Chandler Zwolle, Indianapolis, and Spencer (Kate) Morgan, Columbus, four great granddaughters, Daisy Zwolle, Jillian Pegg and twins that are due in January, four great grandsons, Jake Hildebrand, Gage Zwolle, Brennen VanBuskirk and James Morgan, a special daughter in law, Cindi (Chuck) Bumgartner, two brothers, Frederick (Roberta) Baldwin, Paintsville, KY, Robert (Delma) Baldwin, Carey, OH and more family and friends than can be listed.

Irene was preceded in death by five sisters, Mable & Ray Spears, Enola Mae & Otis Webb, Mary (Tib) & Brad Bradley, Dessie & Jack Endicott and Kathryn & Charlie West and four brothers, William & Sarah Baldwin, George & Zelda Baldwin, Clarence (Buster) & Roxie Baldwin and one infant baby brother.

The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Mark Davis and staff for many years of personal, dedicated care. Also appreciation goes to Kindred At Home caregivers, Ashley, Penny, Heather and Dr. Hussain, and Dr. Tabbert.

Burial will take place on Monday, November 30th, 2015 at Grand Prairie Cemetery, Marion and officiated by family friend, Shawn Anthony.
