George Baldwin, 69, died Thursday, September 30, in Zanesville,OH, after a brief illness.

He was the son of the late Fred and Francis Sublett Baldwin.
Mr.Baldwin was born February 8, 1907 in Johnson County.

He was a resident of Crooksville, OH, a retired mechanic and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Surviving are his wife, Zelda Dale Baldwin; three sons, Paul Thomasand Jack Ernest of Crooksville; and Gilbert Ray of Paintsville; two daughters, Peggy Foley of Crooksville and Ruhemah Hawes of Courol,TX; three brothers, Buster and Fredic of Paintsville and Robert ofCarey, OH; six sisters, Mabel Spears, Lodessa Endicott and Mary E.Bradley of Paintsville, Enola Mae Webb of West Van Lear, Kathryn Westand Irene Zwolle of Marion, OH, and 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Cordell officiating.
Burial was in the Webb Cemetery at West Van Lear with Jones-PrestonFuneral Home in charge of arrangements.
