Mrs. Matilda Eppley, widow of John Eppley, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Annie Failor, on the Walter Stuart farm, in South Middleton township, Cumberland county, from heart trouble. She was aged 69 years and was an aunt of William Eppley. The following children survive: William A., near Boiling Springs; Luther, West Pennsboro; John, South Middleton, and Mrs. Failor; also, the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. William Eppley, ex-Clerk of the Courts George Sheafer, Daniel, John, Ellen and William Sheafer, of near Shepherdstown.
