Obituary:
MRS. ALEXANDER C. FUNK, 60, Lee's Summit, died yesterday at a nursing home at 3400 Campbell after a 15-month illness. She was born near Piper, Kas., and lived here most of her life. She was a member of the Women's Bible class of the First Baptist church. Surviving are her husband, Alexander C. Funk of the home; a daughter, Mrs. L. H. Childers (Deloras Elain Evans), Lee's Summit; three brothers, Edward Claiborne, Ridgefield, Wash., and W. P. Claiborne and John Claiborne, both of Portland, Oregon; a sister Mrs. D. S. Lieber [Ada Viola (Claiborne) Lieber], Oklahoma City, and two grandchildren.
