morning. Early in the morning he was feeling fine and his son, William Luse, who occupies the farm homestead, and had been in Centre Hall, took him along with him. They were out at the barn when Mr. Luse had a hemorrhage and died before he could be taken into the house.
He was a son of Abraham and Hannah Luse and was born at Farmer's Mills on May 24th, 1863, hence he was 69 years and 14 days old. He married Miss Agnes Armbruster who survives with one son and a daughter, William Luse, on the farm,and Miss Cora, principal of the Allegheny school in Altoona. He also leaves two brothers, John M. Luse, of State College, and William M., of Centre Hall.
He was a member of the Lutheran church and Rev. S. F. Greenhoe had charge of the funeral servives which were held at his late home, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning, burial being made in the Centre Hall cemetery."

During the life of his father, while he lived in Centre Hall, he engaged with him in conducting the Luse planing mill, and while so doing they built a number of dwelling houses in town. Later he purchased a farm east of town and built a modern dwelling house on it. During last winter he completed a double house in town and was preparing lumber at the time of his death for a duplicate of it to be built this summer."
