"William Milford Luse of Centre Hall, retired carpenter, died yesterday at his home at 11 p.m. of a heart attack. He had been ill for about a week.

Mr. Luse, born in Gregg township, March 12, 1866, was the son of Abraham and Hannah Luse. His wife the former Eva Daisy Kerstetter of Potter township, survives with two daughters, Mrs. Hellen Harvey of Phillipsburg and Mrs. Margaret Spangler of Lancaster. A sister, Mrs. John Meese of Auborn, N.Y., and four grandchildren, also survive.

He was a member of the Reformed church of Centre Hall and the I.O.O.F. lodge of the same place." (The Centre Daily Times, Thursday Oct. 19, 1944)
