Carl O. Frank Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack
Carol O. Frank, 55 well known Bellville resident and a mechanic at Ruland Motor Company here, died at 5 p.m. April 27. He suffered a sudden heart attack the previous day. The Rev. W. A. Menking officiating at funeral rites held at the Pete E. Etlinger funeral chapel here at 2 p.m. Friday, april 27, with Etlinger in charge of arrangements. Internment was at Pilgrims Rest, with Lee Plagens, Clarence Krueger, Charlie Kurt, Dannie Krueger, Walter Teichmann and Joe Peters serving as pallbearers. A son of the late Herman and Louise Frank, he was born February 25, 1905, in the Piney Community. He attended the Piney School and was married to Miss Tillie Reichle September 16, 1925 at Bellville, and the couple made their home in the Burleigh community. Mr. Frank was an active member of Piney Lodge No 3060, Woodmen of the World and was a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. William Boettcher of Columbus; one son, Bruno Lee Frank of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Erich Wietstruck and Mrs. Richard Berndt of Bellville, Mrs. Robert W. Adler of El Paso and Mrs. Max Andreas of Temple. Three brothers, Alfred and Ferdinand Frank of Bellville, and Edgar Frank of Sealy, and six grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents and four brothers, Hugo, A.C., Herman and Julius Frank.
