Adelia LuVerna Plinske
Adelia (Anderson) Plinske, 79, of Chaska, died Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at her residence.
Funeral service was held Saturday, June 16, 11 a.m. at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska, with the Rev.Martin Cloeter officiating. Casketbearers were Richard Anderson, Milton Anderson, Lonn Anderson, Toby Anderson, Mike Olson, and Doug Olson. Honorary casketbearer was Gary Plinske. Burial was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Chaska.
Adelia was born Jan. 10, 1928 in Dawson, Minn. to Hjalmer G. and Edith G. (Carlson) Anderson, one of twelve children. She was baptized and confirmed at Providence Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Dawson, and graduated from Dawson High School. On April 25, 1953, Adelia married Arliss O. Plinske at Providence Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dawson. They had two daughters. Adelia was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Chaska, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved birdwatching, embroidery, and reading. Her husband Arliss died in February of 1982.
Adelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Kenneth, Alvis, James, Roger, and Donavon Anderson; sister, DeVonne Listerud.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Young of Bovey, Minn. and Marsha Plinske of Niceville, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Palmer (Waneta) Anderson of Watertown, S.D., Milton (Bev) Anderson of Anoka, Richard Anderson of Chanhassen; sisters, JoAnn Olson of Chaska, Delaine Tisdale of East Annolle, Georgia; many nieces and nephews.
