L.O. Zink, 85, died Thursday at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital, Larned. Born July 4, 1893, at Salem, Ind., he married Eithel Cromer Dec. 20, 1913, at Salem, Ind. She died March 9, 1971. He was the retired owner-operator of Zink Produce and lived here since 1936. He was a member of the Larned Christian Church. Survivors include two sons: Lloyd Zink and Clarence Zink, both of Larned; two daughters: Mrs. Doris Clutter, Larned; Mrs. Shirley Edwards, New Orleans, La.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary with the Rev. Gregory Smith officiating. Burial will be in Larned Cemetery. Friends may call until service time at the mortuary. Family suggest memorials to the church.
