Frank J. Booth, 62, of 1134 Gomber Ave., died at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1982) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Guernsey, son of the late Frank L. and Mary E. Kennedy Booth. He was a retired employee of Columbia Gas Transmission Corp., and a veteran of United States Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a member of Cambridge VFW Post 2901 and Cambridge Moose Lodge.
He leaves his wife, the former Thelma Greathouse, whom he married June 29, 1948; four sons, Frank L. Booth of Pleasant City, Larry and Chris Booth, both of Cambridge, and Jeff Booth of the home; one daughter, Miss Sheri Booth of the home; two brothers, Marvin of Kimbolton and Dick of Massillon; five sisters, Mary K. Bryant of Coshocton, Marjorie Vetter of Tacoma, Wash., Betty Fairchild of Cambridge, Nancy Clark of New Orleans, La., and Jane Reasoner of Canton; and seven grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn Funeral Home, where services will be Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. O. E. Ghere officiating. Burial will be in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Military graveside services will be conducted by Guernsey County Veterans Council.
