Mary Cathryn "Kay" Bryant, 70, 212 Ivy St., Coshocton died Saturday April 17, 1993 at her home after a sudden illness.

Born Aug. 3, 1922 in Guernsey, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kennedy) Booth.

A 1941 graduate of Newcomerstown High School, she was employed at the Coshocton County Home until her retirement in 1982. She formerly had been employed at the former Firestone Company during World War II.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

On June 26, 1946 she married Ralph F. Bryant, who survives.

Other survivors include a brother, Richard Booth of Massillon; four sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Marjorie) Vetter of Alma, Washington, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Fairchild of Lore City, Mrs. William (Norma Jane) Reasoner of Massillon and Nancy Carol Clark of Gretna, La.; and several nieces and nephews.

Five brothers and a sister are deceased.

Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Free Funeral Home in Coshocton with the Rev. Denvil L. McVay officiating. Burial will be at South Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and until the time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
