Helen Mae Brashears, widow of Joseph A Brashears, 216 Main St, Sharpsburg died Saturday at the Washington County Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 66 years of age.
She was he daughter of the late Martin & Zella Swain Hines and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Sharpsburg.
She is survived by sons, Roger A, at home; Preston, Boonsboro; James L, Shepherdstown; Donald S, Hagerstown and Marvin L at home; sister, Mrs John Hendrick, Washington, DC; half sisters, Mrs Gladys Hornbaker, Arlington, Va; Mrs Cathy Wade, Hyattsville; Mrs Virgie Chalk, Hyattsville; six grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Leaf funeral Home, Sharpsburg, where services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm with the Rev Charles Birx officiating. Interment will be made in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
