Kentucky New Era obit posted 28 Jan 1992 reads as follows:

Wilma Dodds Banister, 92, Christian County, died at 9:50am Monday at Russellville Health Care Center, Russellville.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Dr. C. Thomas Steiner and the Rev. Bobby Hayes officiating and burial in Jeff Stewart Cemetery, Trigg County.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

A native of Crittenden County, she was born July 6, 1899, daughter of the late Washington and Jessie Taylor Dodds. She was a member of Sinking Fork Christian Church, Christian County. Her first husband, John Aldridge, died in 1941, and her second husband, Wesley Banister, died inn 1962. A son, Eugene Aldridge, died in 1987.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Heflin, Christian County; and a grandchild and two great grandchildren.
