FUNERAL OF MRS. OTTO SWANSON
Mrs Otto C. Swanson was buried Monday afternoon, interment being made in the Nevada cemetery. The services were at the home in Richland township, where the Reverend Jackson Giddens of the Methodist Episcopal church officiated.
Mrs. Swanson was taken ill Tuesday noon while preparing dinner for threshers. Wednesday she was moved to the Iowa sanitarium where she died Thursday night.
Katheryn Dodds Swanson was born June 9, 1889 near Providence, Kentucky. In 1912 she moved to Lincoln, Missouri where she lived for a couple of years with her grandmother. In 1914 she came to Nevada where she was united in marriage to Otto C. Swanson, May 27, 1915. For hour years they lived in Nevada township, after which they moved on a farm in Richland township which has since been their home. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, O. C. Swanson, her mother, Mrs. W. S. Dodds and four sisters.
