CADIZ SERVICES FOR WESLEY BANNISTER, 72

Funeral services for John Wesley Bannister, 72, of the Sinking Fork community, were held this afternoon at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.

Officiating was his pastor, the Rev. Alvin Lee, of Siloam Methodist Church, assisted by the Rev. William Boles. Burial was in Siloam Cemetery.

Mr. Bannister, a retired Trigg County farmer, died yesterday at Trigg County Hospital. He had been a patient there a week. He was a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge No. 121 and the Siloam Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Wilma Aldridge Bannister; two sons, Albert Bannister, Wichita, Kan., and Amos Bannister, Trigg County; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Hall, of the city, and Mrs. Emory Earhart, Fort Lewis, Wash.; a step-son, Gene Aldridge, Christian County; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dale Heflin, Gracey; two brothers, Jack Bannister, Gracey, and Sam Bannister, Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Owen McGee, Gracey, Mrs. Luther Bridges, Cadiz, Mrs. John Alexander, Trigg County, and Mrs. Dolia Comptom, Evansville, Ind.; and 10 grandchildren.
