Funeral services for Bill Langston, age 85, of Kilbourne, Louisiana, will be 2PM, Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the Kilbourne United Methodist Church, Kilbourne, Louisiana, with Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating. Interment will be in the Providence Memorial Cemetery, Lake Providence, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1PM - 4PM and Sunday from 10AM until time of service at the Church.
Bill was born on January 25, 1927 in McGehee, Arkansas and passed away on April 19, 2012 in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Jeannie Langston; parents, Bud Langston and Lula Pamplin.
Bill was a member of the Kilbourne United Methodist Church. He farmed in East Carroll, West Carroll, and Chicot County for over 61 years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evelyn Allen Langston of Kilbourne, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Diane Clack and Bruce Clack of Tallulah, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Roscoe Langston and Susan Langston of Franklinton, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, MELESA BAUR, Tracy Langston, Emily Clack, Shawn Clack, Shanna Gendron, Anna Langston, Erin Langston, Ross Ketnor, Billy Langston Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Kyle Baur, Langston Bunch, Devin Bunch, Jade Sonnier, Makalyn Langston; nephew, Joel Stone; numerous nieces and nephews.
