Funeral services for Arthur Langston, age 66 years, of Lake Providence, were held Wednesday, February 3, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Providence with David Barber officiating.
Burial followed in the Providence Memorial Cemetery in Lake Providence, under the direction of Cox Funeral Homes of 210 North Hood Street, Lake Providence.
Arthur Langston died Sunday, January 31, 1999 at East Carroll Parish Hospital in Lake Providence.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Langston, of Lake Providence; son and daughter-in-law, Arthur Douglas and Sybil Langston, Bald Knob, AR; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Langston and Larry Knight, of Opelousas; three brothers, John Tyler "Pete" Langston, of Logansport, IN; Bill Langston, of Monticello, AR; and a sister, Omie Daughtry, of Baton Rouge; and 5 grandchidren.
