William Dowell Eddy, Jr., 42, Vincent Ave., Rockford, IL, died June 2, 1973 at Rockford, IL, of an apparent heart attack. Born in Brilliant, Marion County, AL, he had lived for the past 18 years in Rockford. He was employed by Bonyn Construction Company, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Loyal Order of Foresters.

Mr. Eddy was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of the Miles Funeral Home with interment in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Thurmond Hubbert was the officiating minister.

Miles Funeral Home of Winfield was in charge.
