WIFE OF JOHN H ZIMMERMANAnna Marie Zimmerman (Gschwender), age 82 of Greenwood Village, Colorado, and formerly of Lancaster, California, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. Mom's family was with her to give thanks for her love. Anna was born to Charles and Anna Marie Gschwender in Swanton, Ohio on March 3, 1929. Anna was second youngest of ten children. Anna was a truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Anna moved to Greenwood Village, Colorado to live with her daughter Cheryl in 2006 after her husband John of 26 years passed away. Anna and John married in 1979, and settled in Lancaster, California. She worked for Lockheed Aircraft Corp., Sears, and Lancaster School District, and retired to spend time with John who was retired from the Army and Boeing. Anna was a very hard dedicated worker with a positive attitude that the cup is half full. She was so intelligent, and received many Awards of Achievement during her career.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Zimmerman; brother's Charles, Albert, William, Victor, Richard; sister's Margaret, Minnie; sister-in-law's Olga, Doris, Janet; mother Anna Marie Gschwender and father Charles E. Gschwender. Anna is survived by son Charles (Chuck); daughter's Cheryl, Katherine (Kathy), Carolyn (Jeannie); sister Martha; brother-in-law Gordon; brother Joseph; sister-in-law's Louise, Freda, Marilyn; daughter-in-law Charlotte, son-in-law's Tom, David, Randy, Tommy; grandchildren Andrea, Tony, April, Bobby, Maryann, Katie, Shawn; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Skylar, Jacob, Hailey, Tyler, Dylan, Tylar, Kirsten, Jordan, Annaleese, great great-grandson Parker; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service: 1/7/2012 11:00am at Saint Peter Lutheran Church, 9300 E. Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Interment: 3/6/2012 2:30pm at Biloxi National Cemetery, MS
