GSCHWENDER, Joseph J. age 91 of Springboro, Ohio Passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012. He was born November 19, 1920 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Charles and Anna Gschwender. He proudly served in the 4th Armored Division of United States Army as a tank driver for General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Louise; two children, Joseph Gschwender (Terri) and Christine Jung (Bill); a sister, Martha Kegley (Gordon); five grandchildren, Joseph Gschwender III, Beth Edsall (Scott), Steve Aker (Magda), Bill Jung Jr. (Nellie), and Kate Markham (John). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Dani, Billy, Anna, Pixie, Joseph, Addie, Mary, and Reese. Funeral service will be Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home (Springboro). Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
