Hershel LEE was the youngest son of Daniel Weaver LEE and Celia L. (Durham) LEE of Hunt/Fannin Counties in Texas.
He married Pansy (Trammel) LEE, and they had two daughters, Lois (Lee) Cherry and Velma (Lee) Hadaway [d. Fla].
Pansy preceded him in death and later years he made his home with Lois, his youngest.
SSDI states last residence at Williamsburg, VA, and last benefit in Norfolk. He was age 76 yrs.

BUMPASS - Hershel Lee, 77, of Route 1, Box 357, a native of Greenville, Tex., who lived in this area 25 years, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Pansy Opal Trammel Lee.
He was retired from the Civil Service.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lois Lee Cherry of Williamsburg and Mrs. Vela J. Hadaway of Panama City, Fla.
A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by Dr. Paul b. Watlington Jr. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, has charge of arrangements.
