Celia Lucinda was the daughter of John and Belle (Conley) DURHAM. The family moved to Arkansas. then to NE Texas where she later mar. Daniel Weaver LEE, 11 Feb. 1878 in Hunt Co. TX. Their children: Henryetta SOUTHWORTH, William LEE, James (Jim)LEE, Cassie (Casillia?) PINKSTON, Herschel LEE, and Dovie YANDELL. Celia and Daniel helped raise two children of their deceased brother and sister, Amos and Mattie (Durham) LEE (Thos & Olive). Celia and Daniel moved to Indian Territory abt 1903, to the community of Springhill, near Lexington, OK. They were early members of the Springhill FWB Church. Their family was engaged in farming and stock-raising. Later years as their health began to wane, they moved to Okla. City to be near their daughters who cared for them. The picture posted here is of Daniel and Celia with their children...Henryetta oldest, to Dovie, the youngest daughter, bn 1897. (Picture made abt 1900).
