She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest H. Edwards; parents, John Quincy and Rausey Alderman Jennings; brothers, Arnold Jennings, Loman Jennings, Marshall Jennings, Archie Jennings, Howard Jennings, and Dillon Jennings; sisters, Lavonia Montgomery, Mazie Edwards, Octavia Nichols, and Edith Edwards.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Joanne Edwards of Hillsville; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Joseph Semones of Hillsville; sister, Lillian Modest Lackey of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Joseph Scott Semones, Rachael Riffey, and Randall Semones; several step grandchildren; special great granddaughter, Samantha Riffey; several great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6:00 PM until service time. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family
