Carson Zink was born in Greene Co., Illinois to Eli Austin and Clara Maude (Adcock) Zink. The family moved north of Wisetown (now Beaver Creek), Bond Co., Ill. in 1912, and then to Grover, Weld Co., Illinois in 1924.
On Oct. 11, 1955, he married Gladys (Rasmussen) Zink in Sidney, Neb. Mr. Zink farmed most of his life. He owned and operated a TV and small appliance repair shop as well, and sold machinery tools. He loved to bowl, play cards with his neighbors and travel to Illinois to visit his family.
He took over the family wheat farm when his parents retired to Greeley.
He joined the Wisetown Baptist Church in Illinois on 21 May 1921 and was a life-long member. He is survived by his wife. One sister, Mae Boardman, and two brothers, Vernon Zink and Paul Zink precede him in death.
