Cassie Lee Sexton, 69, of Harriman, formerly of Scott County, passed away in the Harriman Hospital Wednesday November 5. She was the daughter of Luvania Lowe, a member of the Low Gap Baptist Church.
Survivors: three sons, Ralph Sexton of Coalfield, Paul Sexton of Harriman, Earl Staggs of Harriman; daughter, Lucille Snow of Knoxville; mother, Luvania Lowe of New River; two brothers, Leamon Lowe and Elwood Lowe both of New River; two sisters, Macel Reed of Covington, Ky., Beatrice Newport of Oneida; three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the Low Gap Baptist Church 1 p.m. Saturday November 8, with Rev. Jerry Zachary officiating. Burial in the Reed Cemetery, New River. West Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
