Toledo Chronicle, Thursday, April 23rd, 1908 page 5
Christiana McAnulty was born in Berks county, Pennsylvania, May 15,1829 and in these parts she spent the earlier part of her life. In the summer of 1865, she came west locating near Toledo. In the year 1890 she moved into the city of Toledo where she has since resided, save a few years spent in the state of Kansas.
She was converted when a child and united with the Methodist Episcopal church. For several years past she has been deprived of the privileges of God's house because of poor health, but during these years of bodily infirmities she has maintained her child-like trust in God. During her last illness she gave evidence of the All-sufficient Grace of God, and the abiding peace of the Master. She bore her suffering with great Christian fortitude, patience and courage, and was called to her reward at the good old ag e of 78 years, 11 months and 5 days.
A few more years shall roll. A few more seasons come. And we shall be with those who rest Asleep, beneath the tomb.
The funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. John Wild Jr. on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, and interment will be made at the Pleasant Hill cemetery north of the city. The Rev N. A. Mershon will have charge of the services.
