Mrs, L Z. Myers Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Beulah M. Myers, 43, wife of Leonard Z. Myers, a native of the Edom community and a former resident of Harrisonburg, wno had been residing in the Tenth Legion community for the past thirteen years, died unexpectedly Friday morning at 9:40 o'clock at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Although Mrs. Myers had not been well for several months she had continued her usual activities around the home. She had undergone an operation at the hospital but seemingly was getting along fine. Her unexpected passing, Friday morning, came as a shock to both her family and many friends throughout the community and county. A daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Deane, and Mrs. Ida Mary Flick Deane, she was born on March 10, 1910 In the Edom community where she spent the early part of her life and attended public school at Linville-Edom. A resident of Harrisonburg for some years, Mrs. Myers had resided in the Tenth Legion community for the past thirteen years. Mrs. Myers was a woman of gentleness and simplicity, whose kindliness toward all won her the frienshlp of those with whom she came in contact. A devoted mother with her main interest centered around her family, she was a wonderful neighbor and was loved by everyone. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. On September 1, 1939, she was united in marriage to Leonard Z. Myers, who survives her. Besides her husband, who Is engaged in farming, she Is survived by, one daughter, two sons,ten sisters, five brothers,
Burial will be in the family lot in the Fairview Cemetery.
