Beatrice Dean Haugh, 89, Mill Creek Community, Harrisonburg, died April 16, 1996, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, where she was admitted April 7.

Mrs. Haugh was born Feb. 22, 1907, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Ida Flick Dean. She was a member of Mill Creek Church of the Brethren and East Rockingham Senior Citizens. On May 19, 1932, she married John C. Haugh, who died in June 1980.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Dallas Claytor, Harrisonburg; one son, John R. Haugh, Route 2, Elkton; two sisters, Irene Fulk, Harrisburg, Pa., and Helen Armentrout, Lacey Springs; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The Revs. Olen Landes and Doug Grahm will conduct a graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cross Keys Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. this evening at the Long Funeral Home, Route 1, Highway 276, Mount Crawford.
