Harry Baker, aged 80 years, 9 months and 9 days, died at his home in Donnally Mills Wednesday of last week. Mr. Baker was married to Miss Victorine Deardorf, who survives with their son, Earl, at home, also the following brothers and sisters: J. Calvin, Newport; Charles T., Newport; Mary Alice, widow of D. C. Flickinger, National Lutheran Home, Washington, D. C.; J. Wesley, Elliottsburg; Drucilla, widow of Ed. Mickey, Harrisburg; Nora, Mrs. Frank Baker, Wila; Clara May, Mrs. John D. Baker, Millerstown; Gertrude, Mrs. Thomas Gibboney, of Belleville. Deceased was a son of William and Louisa (Reiber) Baker and was born on what was known as the Duwees farm in Raccoon Valley. Funeral services were at the home Saturday, with the Rev. C. F. Springman of the Newport Evangelical church officiating. Interment in Newport Cemetery, the pallbearers being A. M. Lesh, J. F. Kerr, Jay Rice and Roland Sweger.
