Newport, Feb 4. -- James Calvin Baker, 92, a retired farmer and former Newport resident, died Friday at the home of his son, Ralph, in Reading.
In addition to Ralph, he is survived by another son, John, of Mifflintown, and three sisters, Mrs. Priscilla Mickey, Harrisburg; Mrs. Nora Baker, of Wila, and Mrs. Clara Baker, of Pittsburgh.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at the funeral home on Walnut street, with the Rev. William Mayer, pastor of Newport Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was made in the Newport cemetery.
