Leora K. Gramm
The funeral of Leora K. (Corbitt) Gramm, 92, of McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, formerly of 1005 E. Emerson Street, Bloomington, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, and at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Bloomington, the Rev. John J. Dietzen officiating. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be for one hour before the service Monday at the funeral home. She died at 12:50 a.m. November 11, 1995, at the nursing home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Survivors include one daughter, Margaret "Peg" Costigan, Bloomington; one son, William J. Gramm, Goodfield, formerly of Morton; one sister, Delores Kominoski, Bloomington; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
She was born June 13, 1903, in El Paso, a daughter of Edward and Frances Schlink Corbitt She married Joseph J. Gramm October 22, 1927, in Bloomington. He died June 24, 1953. Mrs. Gramm attended St. Joseph's Academy at Bloomington. She taught school several years at Gridley and was later a seamstress for Illinois Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's School in Normal.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Bloomington..
