Bobby Allen Carnicle, 61, a resident of the Abby Center, Cedar Rapids, IA died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, in the Abby Center following a long illness. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday, Turner Chapel East. Inurnment is private. The Rev. William Harnish will officiate.

Survivors include three sisters, Gloria Burns and Pauline Bowers, both of Council Bluffs, and Doris Eberhart of New Hartford; and a brother, Lyle Carnicle of Strawberry Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Helen Bowers and Joanne Carnicle; and two brothers, Carroll and Garry Carnicle.

Bobby was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Edgewood, the son of William and Maggie Hines Carnicle.
