With their young son Everett in tow, they traveled to Oklahoma around 1900 settling in Payne County for approximately ten years then moving to Lincoln County, Oklahoma, and finally back to Linn County, Missouri in 1925. Their family included two sons, Everett Maurice (1896), Hiram Glenn (1901) and two daughters, Rena Blanche (1905) and Eva Sibbly (1908). Hiram died in 1946 and Eva lived to be 91 years old.
