The Elk Valley Times, Fayetteville, Tennessee. Mrs. Neva Lorene Tucker, 82, a resident of Layman Drive, Elora, died Monday (April 15, 1996) in Lincoln Skill Care Center. A native of Lincoln County and daughter of the late Harvey and Martha Jones Brooks, she was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by seven sons, Harvey P. Tucker of Elora, Joseph Tucker of Taft, Wilburn D. Tucker, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Billy Tucker of Wetumpka, Alabama, Gene Tucker of Richmond, Clarence Tucker of Nashville, and Charles Tucker of Arab, Alabama; a brother, W. C. "Bill" Brooks of Petersburg; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at Gallant Funeral Home with Lonnie Mankin officiating. Interment followed in Stewarts Cemetery. Gallant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
