She raised 9 children in Ohio, and following Ellery's death in 1825, lived with daughter Lucinda Barbee & family (1850 census) in Scott Co., IL, and then went to Fulton Co, IL and lived with her daughter and her husband until her death in 1861. She is buried in their family plot in Lyons Cemetery, Fairview, Fulton Co, IL. It is unknown where husband, Ellery is buried, but probably on their farm in Franklin Co., OH.
