Annie Louise Luquer was born 23 Mar 1916, the elder (by 15 minutes) of a set of twin daughters of Herbert and Annie Jane (Garrett) Luquer. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1933 and went to work about 1936 for Adams Millis hosiery mill as a folder. She and her twin never married and worked side by side as folders until Louise retired in 1970 to care for their mother. Louise died of cancer on 22 Nov 1977.
