PULASKI - Myrtle V. Wilkinson, 96, of Mabel, Minnesota and former resident of Bloomfield, Iowa died February 10, 2012 at the Green Lea Manor Nursing Home in Mabel. She was born February 11, 1915 in Ollie, Iowa to Isaac and Maude Carter Northup. She married Veryl E."Bill" Wilkinson February 22. 1933 in Bloomfield, Iowa. He preceded her in death January 15, 1987. Myrtle and her husband farmed in the Bloomfield area and during World War II she worked in a die cast factory. In 1996 she moved to southeastern Minnesota and lived in Rushford and Harmony before becoming a resident at the Green Lea Monor Nursing Home in Mabel in 2005. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, and gardening.

She is survived by a son, Harley(Betty)Wilkinson of Casa Grande, Arizona; a daughter, Marilyn(Gene)Muldoon of Ottumwa, Iowa; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildrren; four half-sisters, Jessie Winkelman, Arda Downing, Donna Marzall, Helen Murrell; and four half-brothers, Glen, Arlo, Jack, and Robert Northup.

She was preceded in death by her parens; husband; two grandsons, Jeff and Stephen; eight brothers, Herbert, Delbert, Marvin, Clemens, Harry, Homer, Everett, and Kenneth Northup; two sisters, Vera Weber, Priscilla Northup; two half-sisters, Alice Northup, Mary Gladys Huffstutler; and a half-brother, Clair Edward Northup.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Paster Kevin Gingerich officiating. Burial will be at the Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski, Iowa. Visitation will begin after 9 am Tuesday with the family present to greet friends from 5-6 pm at the funeral home.
