COLORADO CITY - Charles H Howell, 89, of Colorado City died Sunday in Root Memorial Hospital in Colorado City. Services will be it 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kiker-Seale Chapel. The Rev Glenn Roenfeldt pastor, of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Born October 4, 1887, in Oklahoma he moved to Colorado City in 1968.
He married Gladys Stamford on May 26, 1912 in Stigler Oklahoma. She died in 1970 He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. Perry Adams of Colorado City, Mrs. Coy Adams of Colorado City and Mrs. W.H. Collie of Oklahoma City; four sons L.D. of Clinton Oklahoma, Ray of Hennessey Oklahoma, A.J. of Oklahoma City and Malcolm of Covina, California; 19 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
