Services for Malcolm Marshall Howell, 83, Frankfort, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Johnsons Funeral Home, Georgetown.
He died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital, Lexington. Committal services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors.
A native of Weatherford, Okla., he was a World War II U.S. Marine Corps veteran,
Survivors include wife, Daphine Lynn Howell; two sons, John D. Howell and Steve Howell, both of Lexington; four step-children, Claudia Burrows and Wm. Scott Rankin II, both of Frankfort, Marcella Perisho, Davenport, Iowa, and Melissa Donaldson, Mississippi; sister, Leoda Adams, Texas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was the son of the late Malcolm H. and Gladys Stanford Howell. He was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Emily Howell.
The Rev. R. Randolph Vaught will officiate.
Bearers will be William Leach, David A. Rains Jr., Keith and Terry Williams, Rex Perisho and Ben Burrows.
