William Wright

William H. Wright, 57, retired millwright for the Edwin M. Knowles China Co., died in his home in Lawrenceville, Chester, today at 5 a.m., following a two year illness. Mr. Wright was born in Pittsburgh and came to this district 30 years ago. He retired in April 1955 because of poor health. He was a member of the IBOP. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Mary Allison Wright; a son, William A. Wright of Chester; two daughters, Miss Norma Wright of East Liverpool and Mrs. Leland Scott of Poland; three brothers, Morton L. Wright and Charles G. Wright, both of Georgetown, and John D. Wright of East Liverpool; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Scramm of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Annie Reed and Mrs. Dorothy Lyons, both of Georgetown, and five grandchildren. Rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. J. B. Montgomery of East Liverpool. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery near Hookstown. Friends may call tonight and Thursday night at the chapel.
