Morton Wright

Morton L. Wright, 612 St. Clair Ave., was found dead in his apartment Friday afternoon at 2:30, apparently from a heart attack. He was 66.

Born in Pittsburgh Jan. 20, 1893, he came to Georgetown in 1915. He retired in 1955 from the Crucible Steel Co., where he was employed as an ore bridge operator.

He attended the Georgetown Methodist Church and was a member of American Legion Post 163 of Lawrenceville.

Survivors include a son, Charles M. Wright of Chester; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Moore of Wintersville, and Mrs. Betty Fitch of Genmoor; three sisters, Mrs. Edna McCauley of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Clifford Lyons and Mrs. Ford Reed, both of Hookstown; two brothers, Charles Wright of Hookstown and John Wright of East Liverpool, and 16 grandchildren.

His wife died Dec. 10, 1944.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.
