Mrs. Dickson worked at he U.S. Machine Corporation, Lebanon, Indiana, for four years making military products for World War II. After her employment there she various jobs, including babysitting. She was a 1944 graduate of Bowers High School.
She was born Aug. 10, 1923, at Crawfordsville, to Franklin D. and Isabella (Harmon) Baer. She married Billy Dickson on April 15, 1945, at Jamestown. He survives.
Other survivors include: her children, Gary (Bonnie) Dickson of New Market, Robert "Bob" (Carol Sue) Dickson of Delaware, Ohio, Sherry (Jerry) Devries of Sherwood, Ark.; sisters, Wilma (Dean) Wiggins of West Lafayette, and Margaret Ann Brown and Vera Leach, both of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Brothers, Oscar and Leo Baer; sister Gladys Stacker; and granddaughter Bree Ann Dickson are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill North Cemetery. Friends may call noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
