Frank E. Baer, 74, of Rt. 1, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in Home Hospital, Lafayette. He was ill a year and in the hospital three weeks. A native of Clinton county, he farmed in the Colfax and Darlington areas until he retired in 1959. He married in 1911 at Licking, Mo., to Isabella Harmon, who died in 1957. Surviving are two sons, Oscar of Thorntown and Leo of Lebanon, five daughters, Mrs. Gene Stacker and Mrs. Dean Wiggins of Lafayette, Mrs. William Dickson and Mrs. David Brown of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Leonard Leach of Darlington. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A brother and sister preceded him in death. Rev. Harold Shute officiating, and interment will be in Union Cemetery south of Clark’s Hill.
