Cordella Jane Kellogg was born February 22, 1968 in Hunnewell, Mo., and was married December 15, 1889 to Herbert Sherry. They were the parents of four children, Arthur, Ethel (Parsons), Howard and Hattie (Dent). They lived on a farm North of Hunnewell and just north of Union Chapel church and School. The children were just growing up when Uncle Herb died of tuberculosis. Aunt Della stayed on the farm and worked hard to raise the children and give them a high school education.
