Miss Marie Alberts, a former Brillion girl and sister of Mrs. Fred Mathiebe, Brillion, was married July 1, 1939 at Cleveland, Ohio, to Woodrow A. Tupper. The. bride is a graduate of Brillion High school and completed a course, in nurses training at the Deaconess hospital, Milwaukee. Mr. Tupper is sales manager for the West Bend Aluminum company. Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Tupper, 55, 3734 Koehler
Dr., widow of Woodrow A. Tupper, who died early, Saturday,
will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church, The Rev. T. Parry Jones, minister, will officiate with burial in Sunrise Memorial Gardens,She was born at Brillion, Oct.16, 1911, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Alberts ,She attended elementary and high school in Brillion, later graduated from nurses training at Deaconess Hospital, Milwaukee, and received a B.A.degree from Ripon College.
On July 1, 1939, she was married to Woodrow A. Tupper. He
was president of the Sheboygan Paper Box Co. at the time of his death in 1963. Mrs. Tupper was a member of the First Methodist Church, past president of the Women's Society of Christian Service, board member of the church, a
member of the finance committee, and treasurer for the Methodist Home for the Aged Inc. Surviving are a son, Reed J. Tupper, Northbrook, ILL; one daughter, Miss Justine Tupper, a student at the Colorado Women's College, Denver, Colo., five sisters, Mrs. Erna Burkart, Sheboygan, Mrs. Pauline Justin, Hollywood, Calif., Mrs. Fred Mathiebe, Brillion, Mrs. Ernst Eller, Elmhurst, ILL., and Mrs. Ruth (Edward) Voet, Kaukauna; two brothers, Walter Alberts, Lake Ville, ILL. and Edwin Alberts, Helena, Mint, Friends may call at the church after noon Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Tupper's name for the Methodist Home for the Aged Inc.
