Erna M Burkart Kaemmer, 94, formerly of New Holstein, died August 12, 1998 at the Calumet Homestead and Rehabilitation Center.
She is the former Erna Albert born July 30, 1904 in Brillion to the late Henry and Hattie (Albitz) Albert.
On Feb 8, 1925, she married Leo W. Burkart. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1965. Erna then married Irvin Kaemmer in 1967. He also preceded her in death.
She was a member of St Johns UCC , New Holstein.
In her earlier years, Erna was a very active volunteer with the Red Cross. She loved playing cards and enjoyed and did extensive traveling and crafting.
She is survived by her two children, Donald (Josianne) Burkart, Sheboygan Falls, Beverly, (John) Nottling, New Holstein; one granddaughter, Vivianne Burkart, Wauwatosa; further survived by two sisters, Hattie Eller, North Port, WI. and Pauline Justing of California.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Marie Tupper, Irene Mathiebe and Ruth Voet and two brothers, Walter and Edwin Albert.
Funeral services were held at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. James Werner Officiating. Burial in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
