Emily and Fred moved to MN from Iowa.
Per the 1920 Federal Census they were
living in Banks Township Fayette Co. Iowa.
By the 1930 Federal Census they
were living in Wadena Co. MN. They have
many relatives in the Sumner Iowa,
Bremer County, Fayette County Iowa area.
Emily and Fred lived in Wadena Co.
They had a large farm in Aldrich MN.
They sold the farm and moved to
Staples Todd MN where they resided
the rest of their of their lives.
They had a bar and pool hall
in Staple MN. They had a huge garden
in Staples. Per Grand Daughter, the
size of approx. a city block.
Emilie's Grandchildren have many fond
cherished Memories of their
Grandma Emilie and Grandpa Fred.
Emilie's Grand Daughter remembers
her beautiful Grandmother Emilie
and her red hair. Emilie and Fred
are survived by many
Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren,
nephews nieces, cousins, many other
Relatives and Friends in MN, Iowa and
around the USA.


Emilie's Daughter Dena Rachow Olsen
had a passion for Family History
and taking Family Photos. Beloved
Dena left Family a great treasure..
Dena detailed births, deaths,
obituaries, dates, names and
all family history she collected in
a spiral notebook. Dena had much family
information she collected and stored
in some little boxes. The Memorials
located, linked or created were as
a result of Dena's Family sharing
their Family Tree and history. Emile's
Daughters Dena and Eleanor Rachow Hille
put the very detailed Family Tree together
with Rachow Cousin Roy Granneman.
It appears Dena may have been
the Secretary. It appears that Eleanor
& Cousin Roy were the researchers...
written by hand, many years ago,
before the computer ages..
