** In Loving Memory of Dena **

Dena is loved, missed and remembered forever in the hearts of all who loved her.
Dena was born in Iowa. Dena's Family moved from Iowa by the 1930 Federal
Census for Wadena Co. MN . Dena grew up in the Wadena Co. area.
She has many relatives via her Family of origin in the Wadena and Staples MN
area and the Bremer/Fayette Iowa area.. Dena married her soulmate
Aless Gerhard Olsen. They lived in Wadena, moved to Lake Park MN and then
Memorial weekend 1952, their Family moved the Mpls/Twin Cities MN area.
Their dear beloved young Son Ronnie became seriously ill and passed away
after their move to Twin Cities MN. Ronnie and a Sibling got Strep throat.
The Sibling recovered. Ronnie's medical issues progressed and he developed
Rheumatic Fever. Ronnie was hospitalized in Detroit Lakes and then the
U of M Mpls Hospitals. Ronnie was in and out of the hospitals
approx. 15 months before he passed away the the U Of M Heart Hospital.
Dena and Aless visited Ronnie daily at the U of M Hospitals.
Family helped care for Siblings while Aless and Dena visited Ronnie.
Family was heartbroken when Ronnie passed away. Losing Ronnie was traumatic
for the Family. They had a wonderful Family. Dena and Aless were great
parents. They were both always a blessing to spend time with.
Dena was beautiful, smart, kind, giving, sweet, witty, always fun to be with
and a strong Woman of Faith. Dena loved her Family and Friends.
Dena and her Family spent much time gathering with many relatives.
We have many cherished fond Memories of Dena. Dena loved to take family
pictures, especially of Aless and her children. Dena also carefully
saved many family info from graduations, ceremonies, confirmations,
obituaries, compiled Family Tree data. She left many huge photo
albums full of pictures of the Rachow and Olsen-Olson Family Members.
This would be one of Dena's many legacies. Dena and Aless were
preceded in death by the dear child Ronnie Olsen. Dena and
Aless are laid to rest next to Ronnie at the Crystal Lake Cemetery.

As of April 2017, Dena and her beloved husband Aless are survived their Daughter
Marge, Sons Gary & David, Grandchildren. She is survived by many Family members
and Friends from around MN including Staples, Wadena and the Twin Cities
Metro MN area. Dena is also survived by Relatives in Iowa and around the USA,
likely Germany too.

Aless's late beloved Sister, Oline Olson Carlson's grandson has the Carlson Olsen family tree, family history and documents on his Ancestry. com site. Our Family welcomes photos, documents, family tree and family history information via that site or on Dena's Findagrave Memorial site. ( see Oline's Grandson's site for the Olson and Olsen Family info. Same family. Anton's given name from Norway was Olsen. Anton's last name got changed from Olsen to Olson when he and Hannah and baby Alma immigrated to the USA. ( Anton Mellemsdokken Olsen) Anton, Hannah and Alma were Olson spelling after their arrival to USA. All their children born in the USA were now Olson spelling. It appears Aless's Parents and all siblings except Aless kept the Olson name change from the immigration in 1901. Aless changed his name back to Anton's given Norwegian name Olsen when Aless was an adult.
