Survivors: wife, of 63 years, Hubertina; sons, Leo Herbel Jr. (Linda), and Lionel Herbel; daughter, Brenda Linenberger (Mark); sisters, Molly Easter, Vera Pejsha and Elsie Root; and four grandchildren. Preceded by: parents, Reinhardt and Molly (Neuvert) Herbel; brothers, Dan and Henry Herbel; and sisters, Bertha Claussen, Irene Dick, Sara Herbel and Claire Casper. Visitation: 9-5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell. Celebration of Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russell.
