"Clarence L. Bork - Clarence L. Bork, age 71, of 99 Sunset Drive, Clintonville, formerly of the Town of Pella, Shawano County, died suddenly Thursday morning, Nov. 9, 1995 at the New London Family Medical Center.
Clarence was born Oct. 23, 1924 in the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, the son of the late Robert and Erma (Raasch) Bork. He lived his early life in the Town of Dupont and graduated from Marion High School in 1943.
On June 21, 1947 he was united in marriage to Ruth Roland. She preceded him in death on January 1, 1981. Clarence moved to his present home in Clintonville later in 1981 and on Jan. 29, 1982 was united in marriage to Helen Flink. She died on August 4, 1988.
On Dec. 2, 1989, Clarence was united in marriage to Edith Schoneck at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Township of Pella. They have lived in Clintonville ever since.
Clarence operated his farm in the Town of Pella for many years and also worked for about 20 years at the Utitlity Tool and Body Co. in Clintonville. He was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Chruch, Town of Pella, where he was the church treasurer for the past 30 years. He was also a branch officer for Aid Association for Lutherans for many years and a volunteer at the Clintonville Senior Center.
Survivors include his wife: Edith; 2 brothers: Lester (Doris) Bork, Marion; and Carl (Valerie) Bork, Marion; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 13, 1995 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pella Opening, with the Rev. Russell Grabau officiating. Interment will follow at the Roseland Cemetery, Marion.
Pallbearers included James Bork, Kenneth Reitz, Daniel Tews, David Bork, John Bork and Russell Fietzer."
